Sharon Amuguni is a poet, maker, arts administrator, and civic practitioner whose creative practice includes visual art, fiber art, papier mache, craft, and paper arts. Her artmaking is an extension of her poetry and is often fueled by play, experimentation, and flights of fancy. She has an MA in Civic Media Art and Practice (Media Design) from Emerson. She was featured in Mass Poetry’s Raining Poetry project, was an Assets for Artist Worcester 2023 cohort member, and was part of their studio residency program in February 2024.

When she isn’t talking about herself in the third person on Squarespace, she’s making art, and most likely rearranging the furniture in her apartment. She also offers grant application support and other creative practice support services to fellow artists, community organizations, and nonprofits through her sister site, sharonmakes.work.

Her full website and portfolio are coming soon, until then, you can follow her (me) on Instagram @Sharcuteri.
